Phew!! So that first step has been taken. Welcome and thank you for taking the time to be comfortable with me. My name is Angela and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, as well as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Currently I work with adults and youth who are struggling with severe mental illness, substance abuse, developmental delays, and homelessness. Many of the clients that I see in-person struggle with financial difficulties and relationship issues as a result. In addition, I work with elderly adults with mental health and medical issues which result in them living in Skilled Nursing Facilities at this time in their lives. I have worked with teenagers for over fifteen years who dealt with severe trauma and abuse from the people closest to them. I have seen so many great success stories. I enjoy supporting the people I work with and going down their journey with them. I absolutely believe that having mental health and substance abuse issues is something that people are able to recover from and learn tools necessary to be able to live as healthy of a lifestyle as possible. I also believe that a mental illness is just a part of who you are, and that focusing on other strengths in life can help to achieve even better personal success. A sense of humor goes a long way as well. I would like to start to develop a rapport with you, challenge you, and ultimately share in your strength and your journey. Are you ready??

Angel is personal and insightful. By being able to write to her whenever and know that I will be answered has been great. Life's issues don't happen Nice and neatly in one-hour increments. They happen a little at a time every day. I've only had a few interactions but they have really helped me.
