Hello and welcome. I am so glad that you are taking the time to invest time and energy into becoming your best self!
My name is Brianna and I am a licensed social worker who is passionate about helping others through the therapeutic process. I believe in a solution-focused, client-centered approach that is grounded in the idea that our thoughts affect our emotions, which in turn, drive our behaviors. In order to change our negative emotions and behaviors, we must first change our negative thoughts and take on a more positive outlook.
I also believe that in order for treatment to be effective, a strong therapeutic relationship must be established between therapists and their clients. Because of this, I always strive to create an environment where my clients feel respected, understood, and that they are in control of their individual therapeutic process. I very much believe in the therapeutic alliance and am always as invested in my clients' progress just as much as they are!
I am skilled in working with depression and anxiety as well as relationship problems and self-esteem issues. I am continuously working to continue my education by becoming familiar with the most up-to-date, evidence-based practices.
