Hello there, Nice to meet you; I'm Candela2303. Joined 7 cups as a listener because I advocate Active listening, where paying attention to the story and verbal and nonverbal messages are essential. In today's world, we lack good listeners as we all might have a friend who is all set to ''hear'' our stories but find very few of them to ''listen'' closely to what our story conveys. I signed up for being a listener to be an anonymous friend who is non-judgemental and treats things with positive -regard and empathy. I believe I have acquired these skills over many years of experience with vivid life situations and overcoming them as my life too was never a primrose path, everyday i too battle with negative thoughts, emotions, and anxiety. Life is never easy; I look forward to being a listener at 7cups to provide emotional support as i know the importance and value of mental support while facing harsh phases of life.
