Hello there, dear reader. My name is Shay and I am a 23 year old female. I'm a fully trained support worker currently employed in victims' services. I can help you with whatever is on your mind, whether it be crime related trauma, other trauma or issues, PTSD, depression or anxiety, or maybe job stress or general life stress. I can also help with LGBTQ+ issues.
Rest assured that everything you say stays between us, and that my support is non-advisory and wholly focussed on you. This means my aim is trying to help you figure out what you need, and letting you say everything you want to say, without me interfering with unsollicited advice. After all, you're the one who knows you best, and a caring, listening ear often helps more than someone pushing empty advice your way. You will not be judged, can tell me anything, and will always have my full attention - I only chat with one member at a time, much like face-to-face counselling.
You can say as much or as little as you want, talk about your worried or just have a nice chat as a distraction.
I'll always respond back to you as soon as I can. When my icon is red, I am offline. When it is orange, I am talking to another member. Green means I'm available.
Hope to hear from you soon.
