Hello! I'm glad you are here. I am a trained active listener and I am here for anyone who needs or wants to talk. I am especially interested in supporting queer and trans* folks, and people whose relationships are affected by alcohol or drug abuse.

I am an adult child of an alcoholic and I come from a queer family. I love and value queerness, but I also have a lot of privilege. I have not had much lived experience of oppression related to my own queerness, so I am always looking for ways to better understand the diverse experiences of queer folks past and present. I regularly see a therapist and attend Al-Anon support group meetings, and I value the role that both of these forms of therapy have played in my life.

I love music, reading, watching films, conversing, walking in the woods (especially when I feel overwhelmed), writing, drawing, and museums. I'm more a small-town person than a city person though there is beauty in both.
