Hi there! 🙂
I'm very open minded and here to help alleviate any stresses that may be present, listen and just offer some care when connecting through challenging times.
I would like to add that if you're in immediate crisis then I would strongly advise you to reach out to your nearest Emergency Department or contact Suicide Prevention. The contact details are on our website.
Have you considered seeing a therapist for your issue? I think it might be helpful to consider, too.
I'm happy to listen, but I would recommend that you also check out our 7 Cups therapists here: 7cups.com/online-therapy
I have, however, experienced many of my own struggles and can truly empathize what it can be like to emotionally struggle.
I know none of these hardships are in vain, and we all deserve support when we really need it.
Sometimes asking for help can be the hardest step, so I truly admire anyone that reaches out.
Trust me, I've been there - and it does get better.
By being here and seeking help, it can make all the difference.
I know from my own experience in the past it saved me and made my life a lot better to open up.
Not only that, but you find that as you connect with others, it does get easier...
And I would like to add, we approach from a place of compassion and openness - we're always learning and growing, listeners and receivers of care alike.
As much as our role here is simply listening and a safe space to vent and feel heard without judgement, it can do wonders.
But important to remember, it's not the role of anyone on 7 Cups to "fix" issues, but help you feel validated and supported finding your own solutions in a safe space. That in itself though can provide wonders for those who just need to feel heard and accepted.
You're never alone, despite how you may feel. The bravest step is opening up and reaching out!✨
Warmest regards,
Jay
