Licensed Professional Counselor

About

Of all the relationships we have in our lives, I believe that the one we have with our Self is the most impactful and important. My passion for therapy exists because I feel that it allows a person to create an authentic relationship with themselves as well as find and access their own innate ability to heal and grow within a supportive, compassionate, and empowering environment.

It takes courage to seek help in dealing with the obstacles which prevent us from moving forward and being content. The hardships of our lives can live in our bodies and minds, leading to physical symptoms and emotional turmoil. Holistic therapy can help to provide support, reduce stress, and allow you to change ingrained patterns of thinking and behavior.

For 10 years, I have been working with teens and adults with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and sexual identity concerns. I believe in providing an environment of understanding, encouragement, and hope to help you work through overwhelming, stressful, or confusing life situations. My goal as a therapist is to help each person find their way to their own unique happiness by working through tough emotions, changing thought patterns, and helping you know that you do not carry your burdens all alone.
