Kierstan Gilmore-Streber, LCSW

Clinical Social Work/Therapist

About

As Jay Z so wisely said, "I believe you can talk things into existence." I believe that therapy is a beneficial relationship that can bring real change and growth if you believe and commit to the process. I use a collaborative and empathetic approach to help individuals overcome obstacles, create peace and move forward. My client's have always felt that even the most uncomfortable of topics can be addressed and processed in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

My therapeutic style is influenced by a variety of modalities and is tailored to the specific individual. These include; CBT, ACT, solution-focused, psychodynamic and mindfulness approaches.  I enjoy working with my clients to understand unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors in order to heal and move forward living the life they want. I enjoy working with clients through change and transitions, providing support and accountability as they make the changes to live a more authentic and happy life.

I will assist you in exploring the past, creating peace in the present and feeling hope for the future.
