Laurie Nolan, MA,LMHC

Clinical Social Work/Therapist

About

Reading this is taking the first step... And that is just what you have done, taken the FIRST step..  And that is not ONLY one of the HARDEST, but one of the most IMPORTANT steps you can take when it comes to taking care of yourself... YOU have to take care of YOU first before you can take care of anyone else... I am a mom of three and people used to tell me the same thing when my twins were little and I was pulling my hair out!  I can promise you that I will guide you and be here for you as your therapist...  You are brave, and I am optimistic, and together we will be successful and make a fantastic team!  I believe that connection with others, taking care of yourself, paying attention to the choices you make and setting obtainable goals is a super recipe for success.  We all have some degree of depression and anxiety at times.... So how do we break this cycle?  If we can change our behavior, or change our thoughts, we can change our feelings....  Sounds simple, (not really) winkbut takes some practice... So, let's work together...smiley   I am very excited to be working with you and thank you for choosing me to be your therapist!
