It took me until the last year or so to really start contemplating who I was as a person, and who I wanted to be. My previous choices and experiences have humbled me greatly. I know I don't and never will know it all, and I also know that everyone has something to teach me, whether I recognize the opportunity or not. I decided that I wanted to be compassionate on a deep level. I wanted to feel true empathy for others, which I pride myself at being good at. I also wanted to be someone who was tolerant and accepting of others, no matter the circumstance.
