Being a good listener is more than just allowing the other person to speak and you being nearby. You have to take in what the person is saying, live what they are explaining and sometimes go deeper than that. You may sometimes have to read between the lines, ask questions, and offer support for them. When I was going through my hardest time, I did some things that were the unthinkable. But I had my bestfriend by my side, and she was an AMAZING listener. She told me the truth and made me realize a whole bunch of things. I now do powerlifting, have a job, caring for myself, and have a whole bunch of self love. I want you to feel loved then way she made me feel, and help you in anyway I can.
