I am a baby boomer who had my children at an older age. I grew up as the oldest sibling with a wonderful but functioning alcoholic father. Codependent choices made on men yielded several failed marriages. I lost my father to murder-suicide many years back. I've learned a great deal over the years. I have a high functioning adult son with Autism, and a daughter with a non verbal learning disability. I have over 50 hours in trained listening through various ministries and ten years facilitating a support group for those who lost someone to suicide. Faith and fitness have and continue to see me through.
