I appreciated averagelistener's approach, who helped me see problems that I'd forgotten I had, about anxiety and not addressing it. and I felt confident to go for some counseling, and even if I don't, which I will (because I can go through counselors..), he had some productive coping mechanisms. It was a great conversation. And it was easy to see when I should just stop detailing problems and work with the priorities which were all things I was happy about.
