Hi, I'm Chloe. I'm glad you found me on 7 cups of tea. I'm a verified active listener and I'm here to support you. Ihave been through a lot of hard times and I feel everyone should have someone they can to talk to in these times of need .I found venting out to someone completely anonymous can be very effective in such situations. I'm happy to help with any problems, no matter how big or small they may seem. I look forwards to hearing from you and hope I can make a difference in this world.
If I'm online, please feel free to message me or leave a message if I am offline and I will get back to you as soon as possible.Glad to have you here!
Thank you :)

Activity Scheduling Activities can be connected to the way you feel. If you track feelings of depression, you may discover that when you are depressed you are more passive and less active. Following the observation that depressed people tend to stop doing pleasurable activities, depression treatments often emphasize increasing the weekly number of pleasurable activities. Additional ways to improve mood:
Surround yourself with people who have a positive impact on you
Invest in friendships and have a “go to” person that you can trustBecome more forgiving - forgive yourself and forgive others
Build on areas of strength and note evidence for new beliefs that replace old negative beliefs (praise yourself for things you accomplish)Keep a gratitude journal

Understanding what depression is begins the journey toward recovering from depression. You may not realize that depression symptoms are not just emotional. Depression is much more than a low mood, feeling sad, and being irritable. There are cognitive (e.g., self-criticism and hopeless thoughts), behavioral (e.g., isolating from others and having difficulty ’getting started’ with activities), and physical (e.g., sleep problems and change in appetite) symptoms as well. The mind and body are very much connected, and the way that depression affects someone demonstrates that strong connection. I like to support people through topics such as sexuality, self-harm, and mental health problems, but you can talk to me about anything! Even if you just feel alone and want someone to talk to, I am here for you. I provide a space to vent judgement-free, especially about thoughts and feelings. I also offer CBT techniques to help overcome depression and anxiety. Please feel free to drop me a message whether I am online or not and I will get back to you as soon as I can.***I am not highly active these days due to having a heavy workload, so if you need long-term support I am not your best bet.***

*I absolutely do not take relationship chats*I've been here for 5 years and it has been an impactful time in my life both for my own well-being and having the privilege to support others. You can find a full list of topics I support down below under categories. I work almost non-stop at my real life job which unfortunately has a huge impact on my availability. For this reason, I am not able to take on long-term members at this time until I am able to find a balance.♥I only take scheduled chats for 1 hour a day based on my work schedule♥
