Currently not able to take on new chatsHey there!
I'm a teenager, and sometimes I feel like I see the world differently to everyone else.
When people talk to me, I help them explore their emotions and I offer support and guidance to anyone who wants it. I am also a verified listener.
I love to help people and learn more about the world around me.
I enjoy writing, playing the piano, and I LOVE drinking tea
especially peppermint ;) ☕ ♋

Activity Scheduling Activities can be connected to the way you feel. If you track feelings of depression, you may discover that when you are depressed you are more passive and less active. Following the observation that depressed people tend to stop doing pleasurable activities, depression treatments often emphasize increasing the weekly number of pleasurable activities. Additional ways to improve mood:
Surround yourself with people who have a positive impact on you
Invest in friendships and have a “go to” person that you can trustBecome more forgiving - forgive yourself and forgive others
Build on areas of strength and note evidence for new beliefs that replace old negative beliefs (praise yourself for things you accomplish)Keep a gratitude journal

Understanding what depression is begins the journey toward recovering from depression. You may not realize that depression symptoms are not just emotional. Depression is much more than a low mood, feeling sad, and being irritable. There are cognitive (e.g., self-criticism and hopeless thoughts), behavioral (e.g., isolating from others and having difficulty ’getting started’ with activities), and physical (e.g., sleep problems and change in appetite) symptoms as well. The mind and body are very much connected, and the way that depression affects someone demonstrates that strong connection. Learn more about what depression is by reading the Depression Guide on 7 Cups of Tea’s website. Thanks for connecting with me.
You might wanna take a deep breath and relax, you have to take life this way, that everything happens for a reason and life always want us to learn lessons in a hard way.
But you don't have to rush yourself and forget that God has bigger plans for you and there is some reason for you being here..
Special thanks to My mentors

Hello there, fellow hooman! :)
Life messes you up and sometimes all you need is a listening ear. I know what it's like to feel alone and lost, to feel like no one cares, to feel nothing and wanting it all to just stop. It's those times that I craved for a friend who'd distract me and calm me down and wouldn't judge me for what I was thinking and feeling.
I can't promise that I will be what you need but I want you to know that you're never alone and that I will try my hardest to support you as best I can.
To my fellow listeners, I'm part of the Verified Listener Team and Peer Support Team so if you would like to be verified or need help with anything, I'd be honoured to have you text me :)
If I'm offline, feel free to drop me a text and I will get back as soon as I can or BrowseListeners to find the support you need.
