I'm a college senior double-majoring in English and Communication, a writer, a radio DJ at my school's station, a music enthusiast and film buff, an idealist, and a believer in kindness. Over the last couple of years I've had a few people come into my life who have been struggling with their various issues, and I've been able to support them in ways they've seemed to appreciate greatly. I came to realize just how passionate I am about making people feel good, and how much I always want to offer them support or help them feel better when they're down, and I became a listener because I wanted to try to extend that to some of you on this site. A few things:
*Generally, I prefer to talk with younger people, say, 30-35 or under--I just feel I'm able to relate to them better, at least at this point in my life
*I can talk to teens as well as those of you over 18, and I accept long-term members
*Some things I feel I'm particularly good at helping people with include: self-esteem, self-worth, and body-image issues; recovering from bullying or abuse; anxiety (general or social); depression; breakups; and taking care of your mental health in college (being a college student myself). But you're welcome to talk to me about any of the issues listed on my profile under "Categories"; I'm always looking to learn more about different people's struggles and what can help them, and if I don't feel I can help you, I'll be glad to help you find another listener who can

Something I like to remind people: There's more to you than just your struggles or mental-health issues; there's more to you than just the worst things that have happened to you or the worst ways people have treated you; there's more to you than any one aspect of your life.
