Hi, my name is India Finch, and I’m a junior at Southern University and A&M College majoring in Psychology with a pre-med focus. I’m very passionate about mental health, leadership, community engagement, and creating opportunities that positively impact others. Throughout college, I’ve had the opportunity to take on leadership roles, including serving as the founder and president of Thee Impact Collective, while also being involved in organizations and initiatives focused on service, professional development, and mental health advocacy. I’m currently looking for an internship where I can gain hands-on professional experience, strengthen my communication and leadership skills, and learn from people who are already working in the field. I am a great listener. I'm the middle child of 3 sons. My two brothers look to me as if i'm the oldest sibling. They come to me for my wisdom and knowledge. I've worked in data entry, customer service roles for about 20 years. I've also been a care giver for my parents and also help with my grandmother and uncle and aunts when needed.  I enjoy traveling and seeing different parts of the world and many parts of the United States. I believe that we are put on this earth to be a blessing to others. when you find something that makes you happy doing I would say you have found your passion.  I know that comforting and encouraging others is my calling. This is a gift that I never had to go to school for.
