Hello, my name is Jeni, and while it’s never easy to talk about yourself, I feel called to share part of my journey in hopes that it can serve a greater purpose. I’m a mother of three, and I recently experienced the unimaginable loss of my 16-year-old daughter. Her life was tragically taken. She struggled and carried a weight no young person should have to bear. My own life has also included trauma. Despite these challenges, I have chosen to walk a path of healing and resilience — not only for myself but for my children and for others who may be suffering in silence. These experiences have shaped my deep empathy, strength, and unwavering commitment to support others through their darkest moments. I want to volunteer with 7 Cups because I understand how vital it is to have someone present when you feel unseen or unheard. I want to be that steady, compassionate presence — to listen without judgment and to remind others that they are not alone. My goal is to turn pain into purpose, and this opportunity feels like a meaningful way to do that.
