still impacted by childhood.
because of emotional neglect and occasional physical abuse in childhood, i've found it hard to make and maintain friendships and relationships. i just turned 35. i'm single, not many friends in real life, no one i could really call and ask to hangout with aside from family.
i am anxiously attached and feel like people dislike me, find me annoying, or something. even though i am kind and friendly. the wounds from childhood made me this way and as hard as i try to heal, i'm always right back here, feeling unable to trust or feel closeness to others. even though i crave it.
i often feel as though most people dislike me or only talk to me to achieve something or use me somehow. it's getting quite lonely.
i tried everything. therapy, self help, etc. i just want to meet kind, patient people. but i haven't been able to attract many of those.
going out to events or meeting people in person is hard because i have anxiety and feel like people are judging me or disgusted in me.

What kind of therapy did you do?
What way did you try to use self-help?
You’re not alone. I resinate with all of this. I also struggle with making and maintaining friendships and relationships. I’m always afraid of being abandoned. Therefore, I don’t trust easily and don’t put myself in a vulnerable situation emotionally my therapist is working with me now to overcome these worries. It took me a long time to find the right therapist for me and I would encourage you to keep trying to find your person.
Take good care
