 cant help but wonder about:

If someone is going to abandon me

If someone is going to hate me

If someone is mad at me

If someone is upset with me

When im going to be free of these memories

When im going to be free of these flashbacks

How im going to last these next 3 years with only 2 people who understand me and whats going on at my fathers

@brenbird

Dear Beloved,

Why would someone abandon you?

Why would someone hate you?

Who is mad at you? Do you know who they are?

Who is upset with you? Can you name them?

These can be fearful thoughts in your mind, which may not reflect reality.

You may not be able to forget what happened, but you can accept whatever happened. Acceptance can help ease emotional pain. Accepting things, situations, and people as they are can help. When things, situations, and people are not the way we expected them to be, our minds can feel distressed. This is because reality is different from what the mind has imagined. Reality will often be different from what we imagined. We do not have control over situations or other people. We can only control how we respond to situations and how people behave towards us. We can gradually train our minds not to be affected by them.

When you accept whatever has happened, flashbacks can gradually begin to fade. Do not run from them. Face them, feel them, and accept them. Gradually, they may lose some of their power to disturb you. Do not suppress them inside yourself. Share your emotional pain with others. Sharing can help ease the burden on your mind and reduce emotional pain.

You can keep yourself engaged in activities that make you feel better. Do not focus on what you do not have or what you cannot do. Focus more on what you can do with whatever is available to you. Focus on how you can ease your suffering. Do those activities that bring you peace and promote your well-being. Accept things, people, and situations as they are. Do not expect everything to go your way. Things, situations, and people might not always be the way you want them to be. If you keep expecting things to go your way, you may keep causing yourself emotional pain. Nature has not placed everything under our control. It does not mean that we have no control at all. Shift your focus from what is not in your control to what you can control. Focus on your healing.

If you feel that you need more people to support you, you can think of joining activities such as a sports club, a gym, or a community, or visiting a garden regularly to socialize. You will come into contact with people. You may feel better when you are around people. Do not isolate yourself during this phase. Being around people can help ease feelings of loneliness during periods of emotional struggle.

Sending acceptance, strength, connections, and healing your way.
