1 on 1 listener needed!
I have been searching for a listener that I really connect with and haven't found one yet(my usual Listener is on holiday). I need someone I can confess things to without being judged. And someone who will really talk to me, not just say "it will be ok" and that's it. Preferably someone at least a few years older than me (I am 16). Someone who specializes in self harm and depression. Positive, and welcoming. A girl, preferably. And someone who is available often. I talk about serious things sometimes, so someone who would be ready for that. Idk. Just let me know if you want to help fix me.
I'm 22 and a male, but I dated a girl for 3 years back when I was your agein your kind of situation to what degree I don't know. But if you haven't found someone to talk to give me a chat I've never actually use this app but I hope I can help someone.
Hello, I'm Kat. If you need someone to talk to about serious topics I'm here to listen. I'm willing to arrange with you when to talk on a regular basis if you feel it's needed? I promise I won't judge you, if anything I've been through the same thing before but I can lead you to somewhere that can give you good advice or just simply be a shoulder to cry on. I'm always here for you. Send me a message if you like. :-) Keep smiling.
Hey there -I cannot sadly speak to you because I am not a teen listener :( but just wanted to echo this point for other people. We do want to help but we also want you to stay safe.
So.....
1.If you are looking for a person a few years older than yourself to speak to please seek out a adult teen listener (it will say they listen to over 18s and teens) and it means they have gone though a verifying process on the website which helps to increase your level of safety when speaking to them.
2.Members cannot speak to members outside the chat rooms and forums -Please do not attempt any form of offsite contact or become a listener for this 'sole purpose' but if you already had a account or truly wished to become a listener anyway that's great :)
I wish you all the best with finding a listener.
Hey, im cat, uhmlet me just list the problems with myself so here goes, anxiety, major depression that comes like in waves, eating disorder, not sure which one i eat s ton for a while then starve myself later, i do minor self harm, and havenegative thoughts towards my body, i also have serious trouble with sleeping. Im looking for someone who is casual, not very professional, more like a friend who is helping. And not someone who just says it'll be ok or it gets better, actual help like solutions or idklife sucks maybe someone could convince me it dosnt? Ha ha no
If you want to talk I'm here to listen, as a friend.
There's so many things wrong with me.. I need someone I can be totally honest with. Someone I can trust someone who will always be there. Someone who won't just say it's gonnabe ok. Someone who won't judge me. Someone who understands
I'm here to listen if you want to talk. I'll help in any way I can.
I have to be honest here individuallisteners cannot always be here. Its the one thing that causes the most tension between both communities. At times offline life becomes too much for even the most committed listeners. As a consequence I suggest it's best to have a number of listeners you feel you connect with and this only comes through practice (keep connecting till you find them -sorry sounds like speed dating I know) then you can create a support network that is likely to be there more often than not.

I know how cliche it sounds to say that "you're not alone", but you're not.
I might not check in with this site every day (although I know I should, for the good of not only others but myself) but please message me anything that you need to talk about.
I'm a 32 y/o woman, dealing with chronic depression. I know better than most that having someone to talk to during my adolescence would have been brilliant.
Hang in there sweetie, we're all here for you.
Thank you so much! And yeah, sometimes the most cliche things are the most correct. Lately, things have been looking up for me, and I'm hoping this next year will finally be one when I'm happy. But if I start to fall back into depression, I'll be sure to message you. Than you so much for the support. ❤️☺️
