Is it me or my depression

I've been really struggling with wanting things outside of my day to day recently. Lately, I've been really second guessing my career choice; this used to be something that seemed fun and enjoyable and I was genuinely excited to study. But now it just seems like the most tolerable option. I'm wondering if I'm genuinely disliking it and should just switch my subjects while I still can or if it's just my depression and comes with the whole "losing interest in things you used to enjoy" territory.

I'm really sorry to hear this. I hear you. I'm going through the same thing. I used to love studying always wanted to be at the top but now I can't study no matter how much I try. I have exams coming on and I'm really scared that I'll fail and be a disappointment for my parents. A lot of things have happened recently which has led to this hopelessness. We've been through a lot rn pandemic etc. But I think you should not give up on things you liked. Give it some time and try to think what will make you happy in future. Because in life achieving everything or studying any subject is hard so it's better to hustle in something you like it makes it easy. Ik you are confused rn but give it some time see and try to think what's best for you. You are doing great don't you worry. :)
