It depends on who you talk to...
I don't have any truly deep friendships, just friendly people I chat with..
My relationship with my wife is very pleasant and loving.. maybe others have better information or thoughts on this..🌲

yes, some do. but it depends on how you define friendship.
For example: some people have really long-term friends but they only text / call, text or otherwise engage maybe a few times a month... after long periods they can get together tell each other what has been going on, and it seems like no time has passed.Â
if you are talking about friend ships that do everything together etc. it is hard to do because life often takes us onto different paths. People change as well. Some of my friends from long ago i simply have nothing in common with anymore. have had lots of work friends that basically end if either of us left that job....Â
It takes a lot of effort to maintain quality friendships and I haven't seen evidence of this in my life. People are content to take take take and haven't considering investing themselves.
I'm sure it's possible but it's very rare and not settling for half heartedness, is really satisfying.
Why is it acceptable to use someone, when they repeatedly support you? Pfft!
