I don't know if this if off the group subject but I have a dilemma my uncle died sat and the funeral is the 27th. Me and my husband planned an anniversary trip the 24-30.

Funerals are more for the living then those who have passed. You can give your condolences to any one closer to situation like his wife of kids before or after the funeral.
Most people do not take attendance at a funeral.
