What does this mean in a Listener's profile?
Under "Supported Topics" (I think) where it reads "This listener has direct experience", what does the question mark with a half circle around it mean, please, and thank you! 🌹

There's a little (i) next to this, in the filter on this page- https://www.7cups.com/BrowseListeners/ which says: "Direct Lived Experience means that the listener has personal experience with an issue, not experience as a friend or family member. To be able to offer peer support, you need to be a peer. As a family member or friend, you can be a peer to other family members or friends who are trying to get help."
So basically implies what the name suggests, someone having the direct/ personal experience with a certain topic/ issue!
Hope this answers the question!❤
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
No, hon, it didn't. What I was asking is what differentiates a topic with a question mark and half circle surrounding the question mark, and a topic that doesn't have that (the question mark and half circle).
I'm sorry I wasn't clear in my original post. 😞 I hope this post clarified it though...🤔
But thanks for your reply, it's appreciated very much. 🌹

No worries at all, and thankyou for rephrasing!
The topics that have the direct lived experience (*) next to them are ones that the listener has a personal experience with, for instance, a listener has "grief (*)" under their topic/ categories that means they have experienced grief personally and are able to support with it to a member.
The other topics are ones that they do not have a direct experience with, but can provide support on them anyway (if these topics are listed on the profile).
However, not all listeners display what topics they have direct experience with or no. Either way, if it's showing on their profile, it's likely they are comfortable to provide support on it.
Does this make more sense now? ❤
@blueAngel00 It's a bug in the app. The question mark in a semicircle should be a star, to match the star in the line above. So it means the listener has direct personal experience of the issue.

@RarelyCharlie thank you for confirming that for me. After Sunisshingandsoareyou's second reply, I suspected that's what was going on, I just hadn't had a chance to check it on the website yet.
I referred a friend here, and I advised her to use the website as opposed to the app because it seems to me the app is sorely lacking in a lot of respects, compared to the website. But it's extremely convenient, and I told my friend if convenience wasn't at issue, use the website, but if it was, use the app.
I need to take my own advice 🥴
Will very many of these idiosyncracies and bugs be fixed anytime soon, or if at all, do you know?
Once again, thank you for your input.

@blueAngel00 I don't know of any plans to integrate the app and the website better, but sometimes changes are made without telling anyone in the community beforehand.

@RarelyCharlie thank you for once again replying to my questions and answering them for me. I really appreciate it. You and @Sunisshiningandsoareyou seem to always be there to answer my questions.
Big thanks to you both. 🌹
