🌸🦋 A Space To Reflect 🌸🦋
Hi everyone! ♡ I’m a listener here on 7 Cups, and one thing I really value about listening is being able to sit with someone through whatever they’re feeling. I try to listen without judgment, without rushing, and without trying to “fix” everything. Sometimes people just need someone to hear them and remind them that their feelings matter. 🫶🏻
Mental health can be such a complicated journey. Some days we feel okay, and other days simply getting through the day can feel like a huge accomplishment. Struggling doesn’t always look the way people expect it to. Sometimes we smile, laugh, go to work, talk to people, and still carry things inside that nobody can see.
The difficult moments in life can change us in ways we never expected. They can teach us about our strength, our boundaries, what we need, and sometimes even who we really are. That doesn’t mean the pain was necessary or that we should be grateful for everything we went through. Some things simply hurt. But sometimes, when we look back, we can see little pieces of growth that came from surviving those moments.
And maybe that’s something we don’t talk about enough. You can still be struggling and still be growing. You can have bad days and still be making progress. You don’t have to have everything figured out to be proud of how far you’ve come. 🌱
So I wanted to leave a little question for everyone today:
🌷 What’s something difficult you went through that taught you something valuable? 🌷
It can be something big or something small. You don’t have to share anything you aren’t comfortable with. Sometimes even recognizing what we’ve learned from our journey can remind us just how much we’ve grown. 💗
And as always, my PMs are open if anyone needs a chat, a listening ear, or simply somewhere to let their thoughts out. You don’t have to carry everything alone. 🫂
♡ Be gentle with yourself today. ♡

Ayo, Lex!
My personal problem is that I learn nothing at all in terms of life experience. Such people exist, and that's me. Perhaps that's why it's so difficult for me to live this life.
I can memorize a poem or a multiplication table, but my own or other people's experiences give me nothing. That's how I live. :)
@RedOceanSun
I really appreciate how honestly you shared this. 💛 I don’t think you’re alone in feeling this way.
Sometimes we expect life experience to automatically teach us something, but it doesn’t always work that way. Learning from experiences can take time, and sometimes we only understand what something taught us much later. It doesn’t mean you’re failing at life or that there’s something wrong with you.
And honestly, the fact that you’re aware of this and thinking about it already tells me that you are learning something. Maybe your lessons just don’t look the way you expected them to. 🌱
You don’t have to have everything figured out. You’re allowed to learn slowly, one experience at a time.

🌷 What’s something difficult you went through that taught you something valuable? 🌷
Well my whole life i m learning a lot of stuff through all those things ive been through. I think that i will focus to the fact that: i m not what others want me to be or say i am
@cheerfulKiwi1776
That sounds like a really meaningful thing to hold onto. 💛 After everything you’ve been through, it makes sense that you’d want to focus on who you know yourself to be instead of letting other people define you.
Other people can have opinions about us, but they don’t get to decide who we are. It’s okay to grow, change, and figure yourself out in your own way. 🌱
I’m glad you’re finding something from your experiences that feels important to you. You deserve to be seen as the person you are, not just as someone else’s expectations. 🫂

Exactly. Thanks for your kind words and meaningful response. Your words give me a sense of calm, peace and happiness. Take caree🤍
Being alone is something that has become very hard for me. I felt lost in a huge group for the longest time, tried to leave numerous times, and still I kind of go back. I don't really want to go back this time, and people have told me not to go back, but it's not that easy to sit with the feeling of being alone because it feels so lonely even with other people I care about. Everyone tells you what to really do, not how to be comfortable with the feeling of having less noise. So, I guess this is something I am currently going through. The lesson probably is that things are harder than they seem to be and that it's important to be compassionate with one's self because you're the only one who can truly understand you. The one thing I'm not sure of is just how to sit with that feeling of being alone and FOMO to just move on from it. I know that my happiness and life contentness come from me, but it's hard just to be okay with just being myself in a place away from those people though I still care about them very deeply.
@Paliloveyourself
I really hear how hard this is for you. 💛 Sometimes being away from people can feel lonely even when you know deep down that stepping away is the healthier choice. Caring about people and choosing not to be around them can both be true at the same time.
I also really like what you said about compassion. You’re going through a big change, so it makes sense that the quiet feels uncomfortable right now. You don’t have to immediately feel okay with being alone or stop having FOMO. Maybe for now, it’s enough to remind yourself that missing people doesn’t mean you made the wrong choice.
You’re allowed to take your time finding comfort in your own company. 🌱 You’re learning what life feels like without all that noise, and that can take time. Be gentle with yourself through it. 🫂
Thank you!
