spoilers Hollow Knight poem
Major spoilers for the first through third endings of the game hollow Knight. Don't read if you don't want lore spoilers. This is a first draft and will probably be changed heavily, but I wanted to share. So here enjoy, or don't, that's up to you! ;)
Piercing,
prodding,
poking,
Looking for the crack in my shell
light unholy, unpure, Radiance in dreams
Father's words buzz true with chains that bind us
"
No cost too great.
No mind to think.
No will to break.
No voice to cry suffering.
Born of God and Void.
You shall seal the blinding light that plagues their dreams.
You are the Vessel. . .

Void is my heart my soul my will
Strength is my virtue, eternal endurance
Pale King, White mother, my task is unstoppable
Do you see me now, do you remember
"LOVE"
"I see your will to love"
Eyes closed, faintly I dream
My mission, my task, my bonds, my fight,
Against HER Radiant light, blinding and blight
"FOOL,
YOU DREAM?
Evens dreams are a voice,
Yours cries suffering."
CrAaaaCk!!!
HER Radiance seeping out
His chains rattle, binding me tight
Holding back her light, rattling against his chest
The egg, my prison, my mission,
"Cost,
Is this great?
My light found you,
Not so Hollow.
Knight. . ."

To be honest I've never actually played the game before. I've heard a lot about it and it seems interesting. Maybe I'll have to try it soon.

Seriously though I thought this was really well written. You incorporated the part from the game into your piece really well.

thank you so much! It's one of my first poems written about a game or movie or something fictional rather than something more internal.
🧐 Hmmm. . . It might take awhile to get a second draft done, I might also share it with my sister first and hear her thoughts? But I will put a update here when/if I make the second or final draft!

Even for your first time writing about a game it was good to read. I've read a few of your other poems as well and they're all really good.
