Welcome everyone to Empathy Monday - the day when we appreciate all things related to solidarity, connection and understanding. Empathy is that skill that allows us to step out of our own reality and for a brief period of time see life from someone elses perspective.
We all know how nice it feels to be understood; to feel like someone gets it. Empathy is a key part of our community here in 7 Cups! Whether you are a member, a guest or a listener please know that every time you use empathy you are creating a kind and more understanding world.
Now lets get in groove and show some love to all the things in life and in 7 cups that you feel connected to.
Goals for the Day:
> Send 10 empathetic Private Messages to listeners/members
> Post 10 empathetic posts in any thread in our Support Forum
> Actively listen to someone and do your best effort to see things from their side while you talk
How can I get involved? 
> Sending an Appreciation Private Message to the people you see in the forums or group supports that are being kind and supportive
> Posting an Appreciation Shout-out Message for a listeners and members. If you are a listener thanking another listener you can use this forum, if you are a member or thanking a member you can use this forum and dont forget to tag them with an @ before their username
> Partake in the appreciative forum discussion started by @Roadie about Honoring those being supportive on Empathy Monday or the eye-opening discussion started by @Laura about How to be vulnerable
> Join our Appreciation Festival Challenge with @Roadie
> Join in the Empathy Discussion with @Iara in the Listener Community Room @ 9:30 pm EST time
