Mom doesn't understand why I'm worried about the future

I always been worried about the future since I was in my mid 20s. (I'm mid 30s now).  I have even tried to research places to live but it's expensive out in my region.   And there's a lot of other problems -we don't have a plan in place for me should something happen to Mom and Dad.  The only plan is Luna will be my money manager but other then that-nothing.

In Feb during an argument with Mom about the future that Mom said that she expects me to move (either with her if Dad predeceases her or on my own) into an apartment because staying in the house is not an option.   But she doesn't think about the fact that I would be moving away from everything that I  been used too for 36 years- the house, the  backyard, above-ground pool, and my community- ie neighbours, and my "family" from church.

There's the additional  problem about the fact I never moved ever in my 36 years vs Mom been moving since 1954 until 1986   to US,  Korea,  back and forth to Canada,  and then from Toronto->St. Catherine's->Kingston->Dad's home town->Dad+Mom->Toronto->Oliver->Willow.

I have looked up apartments since 2018 because of my Dad's behaviour and every apartment that's not for a student is expensive in Durian Region especially for someone on Disability income.  Mom's convinced I will be able to move somewhere in Willow.

Also what about the noise? Where am I suppose to put my desk/computer (since I know from my sister having it in my room isn't a good idea)?.     I  already hate being cramped in my house even though I most of the time- get to have my own space with no noise in the computer room.

Also the only experience of apartment life I have had so far is my time at Disabled Summer Camp and that's barley an apartment-a mini fridge,  a sink, and microwave,  2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

There's an additional two problems not related to apartments.

The one problem is that currently I can't go into Toronto on my own. Which is a problem in itself because my one specialist is in there-so I want to make sure I can get around Toronto when I eventually have too but how can I when she's makes the Toronto Plans?    I know Mom's worried about me having a meltdown in public.

The other issues is I know from Development Services  that I could have   a worker pick me up and drive me into Toronto but due to issues in the past from my Dad's driving me I'm feel uncomfortable with someone driving me.    Also  that (again past w/ Dad) that after my appointment having to go "home"  and I rather be able to stay in Toronto  and do something.

It's important for your parents to sit down and walk this all through with you , to allow you to feel as comfortable as possible 💚

@Amanda84  I been wanting to for years.  But Mom's keep pushing it off and pushing it off.   We're suppose to do it in Feb and it's still hasn't happened except for the argument about the moving out of the house.
