Changing issue

Is there a way to change the issue you are dealing with at the moment. I noticed that I was only asked the first time, what I was dealing with, which happened to be severe anxiety.

Most of the time I'm dealing with some form of depression, or symptoms of schizophrenia (which is not a supported category) I'd like to be able to specify if its anxiety or depression or something else that I'm dealing with, but I can't seem to find a place to change the setting.

Go to your dashboardand click on settings at the top. Scroll down, and you'll find "Areas of Expertise". I think that's what you're thinking of. You can change your Categories there. :)

Hi I checked out the Dashboard, but the only thing I can change there is my email address or which listener's conversation I want to go to. I think its because I'm not a listener. .I don't really have an 'area of expertise' to be listened to. Thank you for trying to help though. I'm going to email community like Sam suggested next.

Hey there!

To my knowledge, (and please, correct me if i'm wrong!) you're asked the first time to give the site an idea of what people who come here are dealing with at the time they sign up - a bit like a survey?I'm not aware of a way to change what you put, but there isn't really a requirement to, you don't have to just talk about what you put for that question, you can talk about anything you wish to listeners!

Hope this helps a little. :)
