I have faced the same and it is really frustrating I agree 😣

I don't like to generalize because I've had somewhat good experiences with new listeners and not yet verified ones too in the past but others suggest that it is better to stick to verified listeners for quality support

I also encourage you to report the listeners that leave midway without informing or those that never come back so they can improve on this

But you're right, it does make people who are trying to vent and get help feel worse when we just get dumped mid-way in a conversation.

I guess I try to understand why that could be; if it's a one-off thing with a listener, I suppose it could be because of an emergency? If it is recurring, then I do suggest you either bring it up to them, or you report them, like @Optimisticempath suggested.

@Devin44 this has been done even by self proclaimed "empaths" lol, nurses, health professionals, priests, who get unfairly labeled as empaths, they leave just cause we are not entertaining enough. not even time to tell them to F off!
