Rating listeners who blocked you
I would like the ability to rate listeners who have blocked me. Personally, I think it is very rude when a listener just decides that they don't want to have to listen to what you have to say. Several listeners here abuse the blocking feature and will block you just because they dont want to listen anymore- not because anything inappropriate has been said. This is the equivalent of being hung up on mid-conversation.
In fact, I would go as far as to say that some listeners have artificially inflated ratings as a result of blocking people they didnt want to help or something.
Why can ratings not be given to listeners who have you on their block list?
I agree (and I'm a listener). However, some listeners do not feel safe unless they can block.
Personally, I have never blocked anyone, but I do think it's important for all listeners at 7 Cups to feel safe. If listeners felt they could get a bad rating by blocking someone, I don't think it would help them to feel safe. More listeners would leave, and more listeners would stop taking 1-to-1 chats with strangers.
Of course, you can e-mail community@7cups.com to report any listener who blocks you without telling you their valid reason. It's important to do this so that listeners who abuse the system can be identified and helped.

without necessary can rating, maybe just can write our own version of what is happened. right now the first who block is the one who is "right". they report the other one that can't defend themselves. or they need email, etc.
I think a great equilibre, could be to at least put the two versions, that you get the popup no matter if you are the one who block or the one who is blocked. should all be treated the same. then you could report for an abuse of the block option. they could get coaching on the proper use of the block button. The both versions or "reports" should be treated together in a same one, and not different ones. so it can be easier to check in.
rating the listener who block us is not really a fair system, because there are users creating multiple accounts for harassing or bullying, and we dont want ratings based on it. ratings are hard to reverse versus the written reviews and reports.
