While every listener completes a basic training course, the Verified Listener (VL) badge is the community's way of highlighting those who have gone the extra mile to prove their skills. For members, a Verified Listener offers a higher level of confidence that you will be met with deep empathy, reflection, and validation from a listener vetted by leadership who has undergone hands-on training to ensure they provide quality care.
For listeners, the badge is a gateway to leadership. Becoming verified is the baseline for applying to roles like Mentor, Peer Supporter, or Chatroom Moderator. It shows you are dedicated to your own growth. This process allows you to sharpen your communication skills, receive expert coaching, and distinguish yourself as a beacon of trust within the community.

What is the verification process for the listeners? What's the difference between one who has gone though it and not? Glad there's a second level but I'm not sure what it means.
