Last Active - for listeners

Have you ever, as a member, wanted to message a listener but you don't know the last time they were online? Maybe it's been a day, maybe it's been over a month :(
Or as a listener, have you ever tried to track someone down who's particularly active in the forums, is listed as being a part of a team, etc, but you don't know if they've been online in the past month or so?
Members have a "last active" tag on their profile that shows the last month and year they logged in. This could be useful to show on listener profiles for both members and listeners. If you agree, give a go at the suggestion box! Popular suggestions will be proposed to the dev team

Hmm, I don't agree, because then it has to be shown day of last login, anyway thanks for sharing, maybe others will like it or we could think about another option ? :)

This is only a suggestion for showing the last month and year you logged in - take a look at a member's profile for an example

Interesting idea, and I do agree that there would be a lot of benefits if this were to be implemented, as it would help with setting up times to chat, and I'm sure it would lead to naturally establishing mutual 'online' times between a member and their listener.
However, I don't think the idea is completely beneficial. Unfortunately, it seems almost weekly where there is an occurrence where a listener feels like they're being stalked - there are already measures in place to help with this, namely the block feature, L-L reports etc, but I feel that because of situations like this, there would be a number of listeners who feel uncomfortable showing that they're active
This can apply to many situations.. for me personally, I'm not always online for a lengthy amount of time, there are a lot of times where I'll come here for 20,30 minutes just to hang out in group support, and I'll save my PMs until a later date, where I know I'll have more time to dedicate to them and focus on each individual chat. I would hate it for a member to see I've been online in this time, and feel as if I've forgotten about them, or that I don't care - obviously it wouldn't take too long before I messaged them back, but I do understand how when you're feeling lonely, or are going through a rough time, waiting for a reply can really be a big thing to someone.
I think if the feature was implemented, and was optional in your account settings to turn on or off (for members and listeners) then I would really agree, as there are some really good things that can come from this and, for the most part, would only make our community stronger ^_^
@Isaac_ I agree with all you said. I would go further to say that if some people use it and sins don't, it could further confuse who is active and who isn't. So I see that as more problematic.

That also a good Idea for consideration but the thing is if you have been online once or twenty times , it will only say that you have been online in this month. It will not mention the exact date, preventing members to think badly about it. Its purpose is to give a hint that the listener has been there in the recent month or not.
Optional settings is also a great idea to look at. That way only those listeners who are willing will show their recent visits. But dont you think that by giving control to the listeners, it would become useless to put this thing in the first place because you have gave them the choice.

I understand that it only displays the month, and not a specific date.. but it's still very easy to distinguish how recently someone has been online when we're talking about the end of one month and the start of another, as you could just check their profile on the 1st and see if they're active.
I don't really understand what you mean when you say having the option to disable the feature makes the whole idea useless, I think listeners & members having the option to disable it would support the idea more-so, as no matter what your opinion is on the feature you will be able to make the choice that is right for you.
Having said that, I do agree with @Amelia about the optional setting potentially causing confusion between who is active and who isn't, but I guess we have that problem already to a certain extent. I still think you have a good idea though, and it will be interesting to keep an eye on this thread and see what other people's opinions are ^_^

The problem of stalkers is still there even if we drop this idea. Moreover, we can always block the connection whenever we want. Moreover, making it optional also sound good to me. It all depends on individual point of view.

I wish that simply blocking worked. But, alas, it doesn't. That's why I prefer my privacy. But, I also understand wanting a system to see who is currently active. I don't really have an answer for what that system would be but privacy of listener should be kept in mind also (IMO).
