Coming soon- streamlined Listener Certificates (certifying your volunteer hours)
Exciting news! We have cleaned up the Listener Certification program. Instead of 18 levels it will now be 4. If you'd like to download your highest certificate level before this change goes live please do so immediately (click here). Here is a sneak peak of the new system, we think those of you earning credits for programs will prefer this more professional tiering:

Thank you!! will referral clicks still be a part of the criteria? that's what's kept me from becoming a higher certification because I don't do them (if I'm not confusing myself with something else).

nope! no more referrals required for certificates.
the goal is to let ppl get proper certification for the hours they have spent volunteering. This has long been what folks have asked for!
@Laura omg you guys never cease to amaze with these updates finally i am at learner as my highest so seeing yor getting rid of un needed reqs lowering it to 4 tiers and utilising the reqs that are more important great job xd

@Jill7cups I do appreciate how these certifications focus on listening, and not as much on interaction with the community, like being a Group Mod or having a certain number of referral clicks. Not all listeners have time to dedicate to such activities, and this way certifications are open to EVERYONE. Thank you!

@AiluraBlaze same, lost 4 levels by moving from global mod to community centered because the badge thing. lol. it will focus more on listening hours and lot less criterias and specific projects (referal clicks, peer support, verify listeners, some trainings more important than other topics, etc)
I'm happy to see that it's now reduced to only 4, although I've earned 12 certificates in the current certification system xD

I think it fair enough. 4 level worth it. I like the idea.
@Jill7cups I lost many levels when moving from global mod to centered moderation, because of the requierement of mod badge lol. my higher level is lower than before even if i meet all the other criterias for more levels now. lol. so download my higher level right now would not be an improve haha
@Jill7cups Finally names more professional and a system a way more fair that does not needed or privilege a project more than an other. I think it was very needed (I made some posts about it long time ago, and this new one answer all the concerns and many of suggestions I suggested).

I also like the more professional names. I wasn't going to frame something that said, "Professional Unicorn Listener".
ok ok, I'm exaggerating but, you get my drift. ; )
However, I should make it known right here and right now that unicorns of any breed or type absolutely should be permitted to use 7 Cups, if they feel they need to.
I'm really happy that referal clicks are no longer part of the new criteria. I can't wait to get my first certificate. :)
