Yes, sadly ghosting can be quite common and you'll never fully know why, but it's not you. Just continue being you and soon you'll pick up a chat and it'll go well for you and you'll be able to put your skills into action 🥰

There is a little computer error that doesn’t let people type messages even though they desperately want/need to interact. Please don’t take it personally. Behind those silent chats are 3 people who really want to communicate with you. You have done nothing wrong. It happened to me. I found it very helpful when the person who wasn’t getting my message, was kind enough to explain the error and advise me to continue to reach out and try restarting the app and signing in again. I had to do quite a bit of troubleshooting before I was able to type messages. The first day I downloaded the app, I could not type anything without an error message and what I’d written being erased by the app. I was so disappointed. But I’m glad I didn’t give up. There are so many kind listeners here.

I am a newbie as well I have had a few not respond and request to see someone else and persons I would get orher chats to answer in the meantime 9/10 of mine answer. I don’t let it bother me. You got this I’m here and everyone else is as well. 4 days I’ve been here.

Yes it does, some people. Want a quick chat. Making them feel better, and they go. I have worked with thousands of people , who stay for a little while and when they’re ready. They leave. Some people stay for years , some come and go , and return from time to time. Our mission is just to be here for them

@DragonflyT17 I'm also pretty new but I have noticed some people will leave the chat or will only need a five minute conversation but others will want to chat for two hours. It really does vary. Please don't feel discouraged!

Hello and welcome.  It has happened to me and others as well.  Just remember it is not you and please do not take it personally.  Some people want and need long conversations and return day after day to chat.  Then there are those who begin chatting and soon after they leave for no obvious reason.  You are doing a wonderful job being here for those who need someone to listen to them and help them get through difficult times.  Please do not get discouraged.  Thank you for being here.
