How to find a listener who has experience with your topic

One of the most amazing parts of using this site, is connecting with a listener 1-1 who can completely understand and empathize with your situation.

Sometimes we find that person through talking with many random listeners from the General Request queue, but if you want to streamline the process and find a listener that is experienced and understanding of your situation, you can search for one. It is really simple, but I have found lots of people don't know how to do this:

-On the website, go to the blue bar at the top of the screen

-Click on "chat"

-A drop down window appears, click on "browse listeners"

-The screen will populate with listeners currently online

-To filter through those listeners to find one who has experience with your topic, go to the top right hand side of the screen and click on "more filters"

-You can choose from a variety of filters such as language, country, topic, etc.
