What’s a listener twin?
What’s a listener twin? I joined last year in november as a listener and I always saw listener profiles having a listener twin, what is that?

Earlier there was a Listener Twin project around here, more information in this post: https://www.7cups.com/forum/listenerjourney/ArchivesUpdated_2383/InactiveArchivedFindYourTwinHere_24328/ where listeners could partner up for more accountability, having shared interests, roles etc here to have someone to support and encourage as well.
The project is no longer active but people can still have twins here and yes, many do, as we can see on some profiles, a sweet way of connecting with someone here that you are friends with, share similar interests, experiences with, someone who supports and encourages you or just is a lovely part of your life in-cups.
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou i know this discussion is old but how can you have a listener twin if you cant message other listeners 1 on 1?
Hiya @insightfulOcean9885 yes old and discontinued but it’s good to ask for clarifications still I guess.
Listeners can message each other 1-1. They just should be on the same side of cups, age wise. Like teen listener (15-17 years) can’t personally text adult listener (18 and over) and vice-versa.
But they can text people on the same side/ age group as them.

A listener twin is sorta like having a best friend that's a listener to as for mine we are getting there 😅 either way a listener twin is also meant for accountability and it's just a listener you feel comfortable around and can trust
