I decided on the new name of Charlie because it suits me best in my opinion. My friend already knows about me being trans and is very supportive of the community but I don't know how to tell her. Can someone please help me? I have no one to ask so I hope random people on the internet can help me.

...See more Hi guys I’m a non binary kid who has come out a little while ago and I’m look for some other non binary ppl that I could talk to or hear stories from. So I came out as non binary to my family maybe a month or more ago. My dad was the only one who wasn’t accepting. He thinks it’s a faze but anyways I’ll move on. Ive been feeling a lot of dysphoria, especially about my chest and I’ve never met anyone else who was non binary so I don’t really have anyone to teach me and look up too. So I’m calling on all enby people, young and old, who have stories, tips, or just want to chat with others like them.  So what ever you are feeling right now, feel free to reply and have a great day. I (22 trans man) have been on T for two years and I’ve planned since I started my transition that I would eventually get top surgery because I have a very large chest and it gives me a lot of dysphoria especially when I’m in public and around others. The problem is super recently I’ve been having second thoughts about top surgery, not because that dysphoria has gone away, but because I would lose the male validation I’ve gotten since I was a teenager. When I was 16 I was coerced into *** with a man I believe in his 50s. That continued through my teenage years with other men of similar ages because my stupid mind thought the attention was good so I kept going back for more. Even now, when I know how much it messed me up and the amount of sexual trauma it left me with I still go back sometimes. It always leaves me feeling disgusted in myself, but in the moment I’m getting so much attention and praise that I guess that’s what keeps me hooked. I hate that this has become who I am and I hate that this *** up, trauma based desire for continued sexual attention from men that I don’t know and are old enough to be my father is affecting my transition. I just don’t know what to do anymore.

...See more I wish life could just go a bit easier on me. but that's selfish isn't it. finding out that I'm trans was hard enough and now I have to try to explain it to my parents. I still feel so hollow after coming out and they don't really get it still. I feel like voice training isn't getting me anywhere and it sucks. I hate my voice and how it sounds and it makes me feel so bad about myself. I hate the mirror and the body that I'm in, yet sometimes when I look at myself I feel alright, and that invokes a sense of confusion and doubt so deep that it hurts. I'd love it if I were just somehow a girl. but sometimes I find myself enjoying life and my past despite presenting male, and it makes me so confused and doubtful if I'm even trans or not. But then at night I get the worst waves of sadness and regret that I'm still not physically a girl. And sometimes it even feels as if I'm just pretending to be one, as if I'm just playing a role, playing the role of Aqua. I hate that people feel the need to discriminate and practice violence and bigotry against us. As if life weren't hard enough for everyone already, it feels like the safe havens that once were are no longer so safe. It's getting to the point where I can't even enjoy myself and spending time with those I love. I can't even get myself to get out of bed, but I guess I'm just lazy, right? I hope there can be a day we can all live our lives proud of who we are. Without fear for being judged or hated or even hurt or killed. goodnight

...See more I've known I am (at least) bi my whole life. However, I've recently realized that I am a lesbian. I've been with my husband for most of my adult life and I'm finally admitting I'm not sexually attracted to him. I love him and we have built a wonderful life together but it's because I've repressed my sexuality and desire. Now I'm processing and trying to figure out how to move forward in my life.

...See more Often times on this forum we don't see very much good gay news, or even in general, so I thought maybe I should spread some positivity. No one is required to post or reply, I just hope this can bring some joy into someone's life.  So I (16, trans ftm/genderfluid) and my sister (14 Cis fem) have grown up in an unsupportive house. I Have always encouraged my sister to love herself and be herself. I know what it's like to want to live your best gay life, and I came out as bi at 13 and I was grounded for 3 months. And I wasn't allowed to see my friend (f). Well she came out. And she is living her best gay life. She is so happy and supported and my mom accepts her, and I'm really just so proud of her. I wanted to share her success story. Her and her best friend both have massive crushes on each other and their relationship is so cute to me, and I'm just genuinely so happy and proud of her.  All I want is for her to feel loved and safe enough to say these things, and she does. She doesn't hate herself for her, she loves who she is.  So yeah thats it 😅😅
