I have not tried alcohol but I worry that once I do I may abuse it. What should I do? I don't want to never try it but I also think it could become a problem for me.

If you are twenty one years old or older having a glass of alcoholic drink during social occasions should not be a problem and most of the people can handle one drink. If you worry that you can be addicted to alcohol and abuse it maybe the best solution is not to drink at all. If you still want to experience the best way is to do that among people that you can trust and at the place where you are safe and protected in case that even that one drink changes your possibility to function properly. Be aware of social pressure and culture that makes you think that drinking alcohol is such a great thing and that everyone should do it. Also, knowing how to drink means that you will not allow yourself to be drunk. If you decide to try, make sure that you do not drink every day. Everyone behaves differently. Some people can try something once and that one time can make them dependent of any substance, and some people can keep the balance. Our bodies are different, and our brains are different. The most important is to know your limits and be surrounded with the people who are your friends.
