Keeping myself from going over the edge means I need to stay focused on my mental and physical health. Don't get weighed down by everyday life. Remember to take time for me. Meditate, pray, having someone to vent on always helps to, having fun and spend time with those special people that appreciate me. Helping others is another way to keep from going over the edge then I am taking the focus off my life for a little while and helping someone else in a positive way.

Some things I do to keep myself from going over the edge are to put things in perspective. I tell myself, "okay, i know it seems like the end of the world right now, but if i can get through it, then tomorrow could be so much better!" I also like to think about my loved ones and people who care so dearly for me. You may feel like no one cares about you, but in reality, a lot of people do. You are loved, and if you were to let yourself go over the edge, they would be so devastated. Imagine your Mom walking into your bedroom seeing you lifeless, that pain and that image will stick with her forever. It may not seem like it now, but it does get better. You are stronger and worth so much more than you think you are. Be strong. You can do it. I believe in you, and everyone here at 7 cups of tea believes in you. Keep on fighting!

Speak to people about your feelings and thoughts. Teachers, friends, family... go for walks out in parks, exercise, get enough sleep. It's very important to communicate what's going on inside you.

Pick calming ways of relaxing. A walk, bike ride, reading a book. A bath can be relaxing, anything that helps calm you.
