How can I get over feeling uncomfortable by eye contact? I know in my future I will need to be able to hold eye contact in interviews and other things but I have a lot of difficulty with it.

An old sales trick is to look at the person's forehead. I don't if this works or not but I've heard it does. Looking people in the eye makes me want to laugh for some reason. I found that you really just have to do it more and the more you get used to it the easier it is. Just remember that what you're doing is not weird if that makes sense lol. Yeah you just have to do it more. You don't have to think about it too much, but I get what you mean when you say you get uncomfortable.
My contact is very important. How do you feel when you have to make eye contact with someone?The more you practice eye contact the easier it is. Realize that whomever you are trying to make eye contact with probably may be feeling just as uncomfortable as you are. Are there any situation where you can practice eye contact? When you look into someone’s eyes try to pay attention to what you were feeling. Are you feeling uncomfortable because you want their approval? Are you feeling uncomfortable because you don’t feel good about yourself? Try to think of the person that you were making iContact with as a vulnerable human being. Don’t imagine that this person is completely confident and comfortable because this person is just like you and has the same vulnerabilities.
