Anxiety can happen for no reason sometimes. It just comes up and our body responds with these symptoms. What can be a good coping mechanism when this happens is to tell yourself that these feelings will pass, you just have to manage them.

These are physical responses to anxiety. Anxiety is a normal emotion and physiological response 'fight or flight' to a potential threat. You're experiencing this because you have identified a potential stressor, for example, having to give a speech, or going through a relationship breakup.

Anxiety often causes physical symptoms, such as shakiness and excessive sweating. If you are feeling anxious all the time talking to a psychiatrist or therapist would help you pinpoint the cause of your anxiety, as you may have an anxiety disorder. In the meantime you should try different relaxation techniques. Deep breathing is a very useful method as you can do it almost anywhere without people around you noticing. It is important to put aside time for relaxation everyday, possibly even multiple times per day. Also, it is helpful to try and identify the triggers of your anxiety, although with an anxiety disorder you may experience extreme anxiety without knowing why.
