I have been through a lot in life too, which helps me to be able to empathize with situations, thoughts and feelings that we have. Sometimes, it's not easy just being human.

Trust me I know the feeling, if he or she is hurting you or not helping you become who you need to be then yes ignore the messages they are just send by the wrong person meant to keep you down! But if their messaging that they love you and need you never back down from that protect yourself always but always be there for people you so called once cared about! Because if you don’t then you never did love them!

well, its a bit extreme but if you really want to not see his messages, you can block him on the places he contacts you on
