Personally, I have gone through this. When this happens, I think it would be best to talk to your friend about how you feel. It is important to establish communication with both your ex and friend and how you may feel about it. Your feelings are worthy to be spoken of. When a similar situation happened with me, I was so torn up about it. I think finding peace in knowing that someone may come to you in your life that may be your soulmate might give you ease of mind.
