I am studying abroad for spring semester and my GF and I are breaking up for that time. We want to rekindle when I return but if she has sex with someone else idk if I could handle that. Thoughts?

Follow your heart and do what you really want to do and if she wants to sleep with someone else, have that discussion and make your feelings known

When you guys breakup, even if it was for time being..It gives you guys the freedom to see other people. There is a high chance that one of you might fall in love with someone else in the given time.

Relationships can be challenging and stressful when discussing breaking up with another whom you care about and want to be with but during the time away there might be uncertainty about whether the relationship will last the distance. Take time to reflect on the way you both feel about each other and to discuss boundaries that would make each of you feel comfortable and uncomfortable if either of you were wanting to rekindle the relationship once you do finally return. If you can not handle if they have sex then discuss that with them.
