My boyfriend never talks to me more than saying hi. He tells other people that he wants me to be more comfortable around him, but I am new to everything. What should I do?

You have to set down with him, talk to him and tell him about how you feel and about your struggles.
I believe you should tell him how you are feeling and see what he has to say. Make sure you are in an area that you feel comfortable in.
What are some similar interests you guys have? Finding similar interests will help start conversations and help build a better relationship. The secret for a good conversation is that it has to come natural. If you find an interest in a specific genre of movies, music, hobbies or video games then that is a topic of interest. You can also start by asking yourself what exactly is making you feel uncomfortable. Once you are able to identify what those issues are then maybe you can work on that and hopefully will allow you to be more comfortable around your boyfriend.
