You need to ask him what exactly is making him act that way. You need to tell him how exactly it makes you feel. Communication is the pillar of every relationship. If you still find him unresponsive, it may be because he is over you already. You need to accept that even if it's a hard pill to digest. There's nothing wrong with attempting to reach out to your partner but it is indeed wrong to treat someone like that. After 1.5 years you deserve to know the truth and what is making him unresponsive all of a sudden. If you think you are the only one who's trying to bind the relationship together while the other person does not make efforts, it's certainly an indication.
