Such a great question you asked, indeed college life is the best phase of our life which shapes our future and let ourselves grow in as an individual. Apart from getting academic knowledge in the course we are pursuing it also helps us to learn many life skills. They are -Budgeting i.e. planning how to carry whole month with your pocket money; -Independence “If you don’t worry about yourself in college, nobody else is going to do it for you.” It makes you self-reliable and live your life on your own terms -Multitasking: it helps you to maintain your two lives together and deal then effectively. They are “business you” and “social you” -Motivation: Sure, you don’t want to write that paper. But, you know you have to and you muster up the motivation to because you know your GPA depends on the grade you receive. Through such experiences, you’ve learned that life, unfortunately, consists of a lot of things you’re going to have to do, even though you don’t want to. Boring meetings, paying bills, going to work – these are all tasks in life that nobody wants to do but, as functioning members of society, must do. It’s a bummer – get used to it. -Note-Taking: You may think note-taking ends once you’ve graduated. It doesn’t. There are meetings, conferences and seminars all waiting for you to attend and take notes on. Your job will often depend on the accuracy of these notes, so it’s a good thing you’ll master the art. Other includes be a team player and learn how to work with others and how to prioritize what you actually want to do at the moment

Here are some valuable life lessons you'll learn in college, if not only, by default. Budgeting. Learning to budget comes in handy with resourcefulness as well. That way, when you’re in the work force, you’ll still make smarter financial decisions. Independence. If you don’t worry about yourself in college, nobody else is going to do it for you. Multi-tasking. Similar to prioritizing your tasks, you’ve learned to switch gears at the drop of a hat. You need to – with so much to do; you don’t really have a choice Prioritizing. Even though you have an estimated million (give or take a few) things to do; you know what needs to be done when. You have to learn to schedule your time based on the task at hand and get things done based on their level of importance. Working with Others. You know that group project you had with the terrible group member that did nothing? Yeah, the same thing happens in the “real” world – lazy people are everywhere. But you got through it with your other group members. The good news? You now know how to deal with others and have adapted to skill sets required in every workplace. Resourcefulness. you have to learn to utilize things like student discounts, freebies and ways to “make things work.” These challenges help you become more resourceful – looking for the possibilities rather than settling on what’s in front of you.

It's a great time when you start to understand yourself and people better. I'm sure that you will discover the world from the other side. And maybe you will grow up and be more independent. But it is also a very difficult period when I was in college I had a severe depression. But thanks to friends and specialists I coped with this and for me it was very important stage. I began to look at things differently, and the same with people. It was hard for me especially at a time when I did not have time to do my homework at all, so I turned to https://paperswizard.com/write-my-essay-for-money for help, if it were not for them, it would be harder for me to concentrate on my recovery. in general, every stage in life is filled with some emotions, here the main thing is how you will look at things. After all, people look at different things at the same thing.

Everyone's experience in college is different so I can't speak for everyone or guarantee that what I've learned is universal to all students. However, I've personally seen myself grow so much as a person thanks to attending university. Obviously there is what you've learned from classes, but really there is so much more to learn too. I've learned to hold myself accountable, especially when it comes to keeping up in classes - your professors won't chase you down, so you have to be very self-motivated. I've learned to be more independent in many different respects; I make my own appointments instead of my parents, I do my own laundry, shop for myself, and have learned to cook and meal prep for myself. I've learned to budget my money every month. I've learned how to be more confident in awkward and uncomfortable situations, how to manage my time, etc. Essentially, there are a ton of different things I've learned from being in university!

There are many valuable things one could learn from college life. The most important thing, in my opinion, is time management. In order to succeed in college, one must know how to effectively balance one's time. Especially when one has many responsibilities aside from school. For example, this semester I am taking five classes, participating in three programs, doing an internship, and caring for my nephew in my time off. In order to not get overwhelmed, I had to learn to manage my time. I have done this by creating calendars and color-coding my responsibilities. I designate specific time slots for everything, including self-care such as exercising or meditating. Time management is the most important and valuable thing one could learn from college life, in my opinion.

Valuable things I've learned through my first year at college are how to live alone and/or away from your parents and family. Also having to adapt to changes in your life and environment (how you stay involved with different clubs and activities on campus, making new friends, figuring out your ways to study and do well academically). And also you can learn what you enjoy doing, what places get you excited, whether that's the cute bookstore downtown, or the new friends you met at the dining halls on campus, look for the fun and new things you can try! Trust me when I say it's more fun to go do things than stay in your dorm 24/7 (this leads to a negative and lonely mental health like mine was last semester). Hope this helps :))
