Depression is in fact a disease. It is very hard to cope with everyday life with depression. Don't be afraid to reach out and talk to someone, whether it being your parents, a close friend, councellor, or your doctor. Don't be afraid of judgement, they will understand and help you with what you need to overcome depression and get back to who you once were and to find happiness.

I think you did the first step very well! You figured out and accepted that you're depressed! I know that it is very very hard to tell it others that you do have a problem! But you did the first step here too - you told us! Are there any friends or family members you do trust a lot? Maybe start with them!

You don't need to tell everyone that you're depressed, but there is somebody, maybe somewhere in your surrounding environment, who loves and cares about you! And I'm sure there is a Person you can trust, be it a teacher or a good friend. I understand that it is hard to talk about it, because of fear of not be unterstood or maybe you are embarrased of your illness. But there is ALWAYS a Person you can talk to and who are willing to help you!

Consider talking to a counselor, or therapist, a lot of them are trained in these situations. Many schools offer this with confidentiality.

I understand why you feel that way being depressed myself, but in the long run it is important you seek help. I managed to get help from my GP by writing everything down and showing them, this also helped with my Social Anxiety

Depression is a normal stage in life most of us go through. I understand it can be a painful and sometimes shameful situation to be in, but Trust me when I say it's completely normal to feel that way. Talk to someone, it will help. :)

sometimes we all have thing we don't want to share with anyone.. but keeping it within ourselves don't help either in fact we will be more depressed by the fact that we can't tell anyone. But there are people who can always help and opening up to someone is not always a bad idea.

If you don't want to tell someone, it's going to take time, maybe you just need someone that you really trust, or you can try talking to a doctor on your own time

Look into information online but with an open mind. You do not have to tell anyone however if you feel it gets more worrying even after research then you shoukd consider telling somebody that you trust

Admitting depression to a loved one or friend can seem like an embarrassing admission of a personal failure. It isn't. Depression, to one degree or another, is an unfortunate but natural part of life for so many people the world over. Know that your depression isn't a failure and be honest with someone about how you're feeling.

People are more understanding then you think, it may be a huge release off your shoulders to be able to share with another person. If not there are many channels to get support such as talking to a listener or professional counselling service. You are worth spending time on. Look after your mental health as it is the underlying foundation for a healthy lifestyle.

You should try to find out if you are really feeling depressed or if it's just a sort of sad feeling that is caused by some sort of situation.

Its very understandable that you wouldnt want to tell anyone how you feel. But the only way to truly work through depression is to talk to someone and work from there. You can talk to a doctor in full confidence if that would make you feel better and they cannot pass anything you say on without your permission

Try to find out the cause of depression, and check when you feel extreme , which thoughts make this happen, and then think how do you conquer that thing and being social with friends and family make you feel good and also find some reason to live in this world.

It's okay, figure out your feelings and everything, you don't need to rush. You can always talk to a listener, it is fine that you don't want to tell anyone yet.

Tell someone. Telling someone is the best thing to do when it comes to depression because it gets it off you chest. Just remember so many people are willing to support and love you.

Find someone you can tell. Deep emotions and feeling like depression or anxiety aren't emotions meant to be pent up. Find someone you trust and tell them your feelings and troubles. Sometimes these people can be parents, teachers, trusted friends, siblings or anyone you look up to.

It may seem scary but try to find someone that you really trust and talk to them, the worst thing that you can do is not talk about it. I did that for a while, but it never helped; it wasn't until I finally told my mom that I got the help I needed

Find help, the sooner you talk to someone the better. Wether it's someone professional or just a friend or family member. Talk about it

Depression is a very serious thing. Being alone and depressed isn't necessarily the way to go, as it can make you feel a lot more alone than you really are. It's okay to not be ready to tell someone, but it isn't recommended. If you tell someone, you can be sure that they are there for you and will help you feel less alone.

What are you reasons for not wanting to tell anyone? Do you think they'll judge you? Mock you? Think you're faking it? Would you want a friend to tell you if they were depressed?

You need to tell someone about your depression. You need to talk about it with the person you trust the most and feel comfortable with. the more you keep it hidden the more you will experience the negative thoughts. Getting open about it will help you to come out of depression.

I think this test will help you to know for sure if you are depressed or not https://www.7cups.com/depression-test/ ... secondly if it is evident to you that you are depression then I m of an opinion that you should communicate it to your family and to people close to you.

Talking about what you are going through with others can help to lighten the load that depression can have on you. Opening up to others can help you to form a network of family/friends/professionals that can assist you through this difficult time.
